The Ridgeline Cap Style Hard Hat is a lightweight yet durable hard hat that will keep you safe and comfortable while out on the jobsite. The vented helmet allows for the user to be cooler throughout the day. The hard hat meets all ANSI Z89.1 Standards, Type I, Class C, G, and E, CSA Z94.1-15 and features ABS material Strong, yet ultra-light for seemingly weightless protection Low profile design Offers a low center of gravity for better balance Rear padded suspension Provides additional level of comfort on the wearers’ neck 4-position harness points Allows you to move the harness forward, backward, up or down allowing for the most optimal position for ultimate comfort Replaceable sweat band Padded fabric and polyurethane foam for all day wear Vented pressure pad Keeps the straps in place providing an additional level of comfort Easy to grasp triangle knob Adjusts the suspension from 6 1/2 to 8-inch hat sizes Swinging hinge points Allows you to find the most comfortable position on the back of your head. Per ANSI Z89.1, Pyramex recommends the following: The service life of a helmet begins when the helmet is placed into service. The useful service life will vary dependent on the application. Based on experience, the average service life is 6 months to 2 years from the time the helmet is placed into service. With proper care and storage, the maximum service life is up to 5 years. As long as helmets are stored in reasonable conditions, away from excessive heat, moisture, and light, the maximum shelf life is 5 years.All Pyramex helmets include a date code that is molded into the underside of the shell’s brim that shows the month and year that the helmet was manufactured.
