Standards development efforts have come up with a standard for Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) which 3M has focused putting the best technology together to not only create a PAPR system you need, but the insurance you expect.
The 3M Versaflo Ammonia/Methylamine/HEPA Cartridge TR-6360N can be used with any TR-600/800 PAPR. This cartridge has been formulated for use as a combination High Efficiency (HE) particulate filter and Ammonia/Methylamine (AM/MA) cartridge. Suitable and used for a variety of operations where the primary hazard is particulate or ammonia or methylamine gas. Used for industries & applications that include refrigeration, pharmaceutical synthesis or fertilizer manufacturing operations. It is recommended for use with the TR-6300FC filter cover to help protect the cartridge/filter from physical damage which also can be used to hold the TR-662 spark arrestor in place. For maximum run time, select the TR-632 High Capacity Battery when use of this cartridge. NIOSH Approved.
